The 49’er is back! The long-running 49’er Qualifier, following on the heels of the AMA West Classic Success in 2025 at WDA, brings back a recurring scale contest to Northern California, now known as the 49’er Scale Classic. This contest is intended to bring modelers together, encourage new participation, and help create fun opportunities for competition within the framework of AMA scale rules.

All entrants must have a current AMA membership card, and pilots of turbine-powered aircraft must present current AMA turbine waiver documents. See www.wdarc.org for field information. 600 feet x 55 feet of petromat smooth runway, with adjacent grass runway surface and large, smooth overfly areas. Shaded pit areas are first come first serve, power is available in the pits. RV parking and camping are welcome.
